Postpartum hair fall is the excessive shedding of hair, few months post childbirth . Almost all the new moms experience noticeable hair loss few months post-delivery. Yes, you read that right. Hair fall and postpartum go hand in hand. It is not actual hair loss so to say. Once our hormones settle down to normal, the drop in estrogen triggers hair shedding. It's just the regular lifecycle of our hair but the only difference postpartum is the amount of hair. One fine day you wash/comb your hair only to find that the number of hairs on the floor is more than that on your head!   Traveling with a newborn can always be tricky, especially if you are first time parents. Things can get overwhelming at times, and it is always best to prepare ahead of time. When is it safe to travel with a newborn? In general, it is not recommended to travel with a newborn during the first month. Our body needs to heal postpartum and also the baby needs time to adjust to the new world outside of womb. But it is always best to check with your doctor as well as the pediatrician. I had a caesarean delivery but with postpartum blues kicking in and no help whatsoever I had no choice but to go to my parents. I first checked in with my gynecologist if I was fit to fly.
