How to make Immunity boosting Chicken soup for toddlers and babies

As a parent we are most concerned about our baby's immunity. So here I am sharing with you the recipe for Immunity boosting chicken soup. It's a one pot recipe. And the ingredients and method are also very simple.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken - 250 grams
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Onion - 1/2 small
  • Green cardamom - 1
  • Black pepper corns - 3
  • Cloves - 3
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon stick - 1/2 small
  • Salt - to taste
  • Coriander leaves - for garnish

Recipe :

  • Clean and wash the chicken in warm water.
  • Heat oil in a cooker.
  • To this add the slit onion and saute till it turns golden.
  • Once the onions are done add cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and black pepper corns. Saute for a minute.
  • Then add the chicken pieces and saute them for 4-5 minutes.
  • To this add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste and cook it for a minute.
  • Once the ginger garlic paste loosed its raw smell, add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and salt to taste and saute the spices for a minute.
  • Now add chopped coriander leaves and one and a half glass of water in the cooker. Close the lid and cook it on high flame for 6 whistles or till the chicken becomes soft and tender.

Your immunity boosting, nutritious chicken soup is ready! Serve warm and enjoy!! The best part about this soup is, the entire family can savor it.
